A strong assumption that you sit down and plan everything in advance.
That has never been how I homeschool.
I don’t lesson plan every week. I don’t want to be locked into a system that doesn’t adapt when life shifts. I need flexibility, flow, and space to think. And every year I found myself adjusting planners, ignoring sections, or abandoning them entirely.
Eventually, I realized something important. The issue wasn’t planning. The issue was fit.
