How to know if you should homeschool

Follow along as I walk you through the Pros & Cons of choosing to homeschool. Well, at least the pros and cons for our family. Many parents are asking themselves how to know if they should homeschool this year.

While this is the list for our family, there are likely several pros or cons you had not considered for your own list. Deciding to homeschool is such a large decision.  I do have several posts on this page that can help you decide if the homeschool path is right for your kiddo and your family.

Many families are migrating to homeschooling this year out of necessity. This can be the scariest way to approach anything. I believe that the unique circumstances of 2020 have allowed families who never would have considered homeschooling to thin otherwise. As an experienced homeschool mom, by no means an expert, I hope to help others find their way in the homeschool world. Secular or nonsecular, homeschooling is a big choice. This choice is being made by you, your spouse, your family, and needs to be the best choice for each of your children.

Rest assured, we all struggle with worrying about messing up our kids long term. There really is no way of knowing whether you are or not. You can only make the best decisions with the information you have. Be honest with yourself if you can really devote the time and energy to staying on top of the requirements of homeschool.

Homeschooling is not easy but it certainly is worth it! Please share this content so that we can expand the secular homeschool community and comment below with your own pros and cons. Let’s band together and help all of the families that are coming to homeschool this year.
