A Peek into My Full Homeschool Mom Morning Routine – Making Every Day Magical

Good morning, okay! So, grab your coffee and join me as I share my full homeschool mom morning routine. Today is a special day with flowers everywhere, and I’m feeling those little actress vibes after the opening weekend of A’s show. I’m Shanna, part of a homeschooling family of four, and today is a Tuesday. This year marks our seventh year of homeschooling, and I’m excited to take you through my morning routine before we break for Christmas.

But before we dive in, if you’re new here, I’m Shanna. We’re a homeschooling family, and I love sharing our everyday magic. Don’t forget to hit the subscribe button, and give this post a thumbs up. Let’s connect down in the comments or over on Instagram @makingeverydaymagic.

1. Waking Up and Coffee Time:

My day begins at 5:40 AM with my trusty alarm. Today, I decided to linger in bed until about 6:15 AM. Thanks to my thoughtful husband, coffee is already waiting for me – a true lifesaver! With the sun slowly brightening up our space, I quickly check notifications, read a bit, and prepare for the day ahead.

2. Morning Goals:

Being a routine enthusiast, my morning goals include filming my full morning routine, finishing some work, and preparing for the day before our homeschooling kicks in. I believe in getting things done before school time to set a positive tone for the day. I feel like I am starting on a great foot if I can put a check mark in the win column for a home task, a work task, and a personal task.

3. Holiday Giveaway:

I’m currently in the midst of a holiday giveaway, and today is day five. The giveaway has been a fantastic experience with great vendors and support. After a quick status report, I jump into the bathroom for my morning routine, starting with washing my face.

4. Get Ready and Holiday Giveaway Drawing:

As I get ready, I share insights into my morning routine, including makeup, planning, and even a sped-up glimpse of my holiday giveaway drawing process. It’s a routine that helps me feel prepped and ready for whatever the day brings. I know that in my efforts to revamp my day, I need to be sure that I am getting fully ready every day.

5. More Coffee & Work:

At 7:20 AM, I top off my coffee, catch up on YouTube videos, and dive into some work. I showcase my Etsy shop where I sell Magic Band skins. Glad to be caught up on orders and having them heading to their new homes.

6. Status Report and Breakfast:

By 8:08 AM, I’ve prepped for the day, packaged orders, and set the stage for a productive morning. The kids are up and enjoying breakfast. With my giveaway done and work tasks checked off, it’s time for a final coffee refill and some work.

7. Finish Getting Day Ready:

By 8:56 AM, I’ve accomplished a lot – I’m fully dressed, work tasks completed, and the family is ready for the day. Although not every morning is ideal, I feel good about what I’ve achieved by this time.

Conclusion:

And that’s a wrap! It’s 8:56 AM, and I’m ready to tackle the day. I hope you enjoyed this behind-the-scenes look into my morning routine.
