Yes, it’s helpful to know your child’s grade level.
It gives them an easy answer when people ask.
It helps with things like camps, classes, and general placement.
But perfection? Staying exactly “on grade level” across every subject?
That doesn’t exist.
Not in homeschool.
Not in traditional school either.
Every child is going to be:
- Ahead in some areas
- Right on track in others
- Behind somewhere else
