Incorporate Family and Field Trips for Homeschool Success

As parents, we firmly believe that educating your children is a daily effort. We are avid learners and appreciate finding ways to help our children learn and experience the world. A very simple way to do that is to ask them open-ended questions. This encourages them to think and often times the answers are pretty entertaining.

It is very easy to play I Spy or write letters while waiting at a restaurant. Encourage your kiddos to fine letters or words they know on nearby signage. Let the kids read and follow a map when possible. Mix crayon colors to learn about primary and secondary colors. Ask them what shapes the clouds make.
