2024 And Right Now Me

The Season of Self-Evaluation

‘Tis the season for self-evaluation, and as we wind down this year, some things need to change. It’s Shanna here, and today, I want to share my thoughts on 2024 and the present moment.

Reflecting on 2023

As we approach the end of the year, I can’t help but look back at 2023. It felt like the first year we truly embraced the new normal, but that doesn’t mean it came without challenges. The world has changed, and there’s a lot on the horizon, especially with 2024 just around the corner.

Embracing Change and Self-Improvement

2024 brings a mix of anticipation and concern. The upcoming events, especially the first Tuesday in November, loom large, and the current state of affairs is filled with tension and rhetoric. While I can’t control external factors, I’ve decided to focus on what I can change – myself.

Don’t Be Afraid to Let People See You Trying

A recent quote has been resonating with me: “Don’t be afraid to let people see you trying.” This struck a chord because, like many of us, I often present the polished and accomplished side of myself. However, there’s value in sharing the journey, the struggles, and the process of trying and learning.

Wins, Struggles, and Goals

Celebrating Wins

In 2023, our homeschooling journey has been a win. We’ve stayed on track, and remained consistent, and the mid-year recap highlighted our achievements. Family time has been a priority, and our shared activities have strengthened our bonds.

Acknowledging Struggles

On the flip side, tracking and prioritizing tasks have been challenges. There’s a list of business ideas and personal goals that need attention. It’s time to reassess, delegate, and let go of what no longer serves its purpose.

Β Setting Goals for 2024

Looking ahead to 2024, my goals include a renewed commitment to tracking, executing business ideas, and simplifying various aspects of my life. Embracing the journey of self-discovery, I want to continue evolving the flavor of this channel and explore new opportunities.

Personal and Family Aspirations

Β Prioritizing Health and Fitness

On a personal level, my goal is to feel fit and healthy by the time I turn 40 in 2024. This involves making positive lifestyle changes, embracing the journey, and not being afraid to share the process.

Strengthening Family Bonds

As a family, we aim to continue our tradition of shared activities and monthly chosen family events. The goal is to savor these moments, especially during the holiday season.

Home Improvement Projects

In terms of our home, the plan is to tackle one manageable house project per month starting in March. This incremental approach aims to address smaller tasks that often get overlooked.

Conclusion: Right Now Me

In conclusion, this post is titled “2024 And Right Now Me” because it captures the essence of the present moment. Right now, I feel optimistic, inspired, and excited about the upcoming year. It’s a journey of self-improvement, embracing change, and not being afraid to let others see the process.
